JOB DESCRIPTION
At the Front Desk, you will support guests to ensure a comfortable stay, drawing on knowledge of the hotel and Hakuba and responding flexibly to a variety of needs. It’s a position that keeps the hotel running smoothly and connects you with guests from around the globe.
- Opening and closing tasks
- Reception duties: Handling check-in and check-out procedures
- Guest support: Responding to inquiries and requests in person or by phone, problem-solving, and guest relations
- Transportation support and management: Driving (for those with a license), arranging drivers, and managing shuttle schedules
- System operations: Using reservation and payment systems (PMS, POS), handling cashier duties
- Facilities & Equipment Management: Maintain the amenity station and information boards, check the condition of guest rooms and other facilities, and manage inventory
- Team coordination: Collaborating with other departments such as housekeeping and the restaurant
- Restaurant service support: Assisting with restaurant reception duties as needed
- Multilingual communication: Communicating in Japanese and English
- Other related duties as required
